In today's episode we'll get started on the bowl mule.

What's a "bowl mule" you ask?

Think of a squat shaving horse with a slightly different configuration for work holding.

Before we get into the meat, we'll need to work the birch and that'll take us from crosscutting to riving the legs with a froe ... (  exciting stuff! ) to a little draw knife action before making quick work with a tenon cutter fitted into our standard brace.

Lots of new tools and techniques to look at, but . . .
