There are many modern alternatives to traditional hot hide glue that can provide the appropriate working strength for furniture makers. We use a combination of them at The Unplugged Woodshop and if you would like to try some out, we carry Titebond Genuine Hide Glue. This is a great product since it doesn’t need to be heated before use and is reversible just like traditional hot hide glues.
