The UW-Toronto feels passionately about the preservation of the arts and crafts through woodworking and hand tools. If you love woodworking and hand tools, but don’t have the space for a shop of your own, the Unplugged Woodshop MakerSpace may be just what you’re looking for.
Students of all levels will be able to create their own projects, with the help and guidance of our Instructors. Be it something you’ve seen in a magazine, an existing plan on the internet, or one of the furniture or tool projects from Tom’s books, we’re here to help you achieve your goals. We will teach you the skills required to successfully complete your project, and oversee and assist you at every step of the way.
Check out our new YouTube video, “Makerspace”. A quick look at a typical evening at the Unplugged Woodshop. Great people working wood with hand tools. Making, learning, sharing and experiencing the joys of hand craft. Enjoy~
