Fine start to a handcrafted year ahead, heart felt words heard clearly without the buzz of electrics…music to my ears…the very best of shavings this year Tom, so many choices, and as you say one at a time individually made by hand…very cool
More of these videos please, always good to see.
Cheers

Thanks for sharing Tom! A beautiful and artfully presented explanation of why we do what we do. Very inspiring!

Hi Tom:
Thanks for the great video. The thoughts you share in this video are the reason I got into wood working. I read your first book and realized it didn’t have to be a process, but could be an art form that is truly satisfying. You also helped me realize that a shop does not have to be large to create great work. I’m currently building my workbench in my 9 foot by 10 foot hand tool only workshop. The space was formerly the dining area of my apartment. Looking forward to the next book.

Hi Tom,
Very inspiring video, I just parked my car, ready to go to work and just felt I wanted to go home, cut some cherry and walnut boards, take some wood shavings and create something. Not sure what it would be, but the wood would probably tell me what it wanted to be… (Krenov comes to my mind right now).
