Make everyday, a masterpiece !

Welcome to the Unplugged Woodshop!

I’m Tom.

Here at the UW, I write and I build, I teach and I travel.

From Canada to Germany, the United States, the Yukon, England, and Australia,

I enjoy travelling to schools and teaching the art and craft of hand tools and fine furniture making.

If you’re interested in  joining a class with me in Toronto, or you’re looking for an extended study period,

watch the UW website for updates on the UW Toronto, brick & mortar school of hand crafts.

Coming in the winter of 2015/16.

If you’d like me to visit a school or workshop near you, that can also be arranged.

If you’re having an event, I would be happy to give a lecture, demonstration or speech.

Later in 2015, I’ll be speaking at the Woodworking in America conference in Kansas City, MO.

In 2016, I’ll be at Sawlapalooza in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, USA,

and at the Woodworks Conference in Perth, Ontario, Canada.

I’m always open to new adventures and ideas~

Send me an email with any thoughts, comments or suggestions, inquiries and/or requests.
