I received a letter from Dan this weekend and wanted to share it with you.

Dan recently finished making an Architect’s Table following the plans in my book, The Unplugged Woodshop.

Dan sent us these pics last year, and it’s nice to see some more of his amazing work.

Dan made his table a little larger than the original, and added a third stretcher near the top of the legs for added support.

Great job on the table Dan ! ( great photos too ; )

I hope you enjoy using yours as much as I do mine.

Thanks for sharing and all the best~

Hey Tom –

Hope you’re doing well. Just wanted to pass along some photos of the table completed with paper tray. There aren’t many differences from your original design except the table is a bit larger, with a 3rd stretcher, and I used maple for the bread board ends instead of walnut. Oh, I also made my own handles for the keys. This design is so classic and so timeless, I could see myself doing this project again. Maybe next time in white oak. Thanks again for sharing the craft.

Best regards,
Dan
