I received a letter from Ron in Morris, Illinois yesterday and had to share it with you.

Ron recently made himself an Architect’s table following the plans from my book, The Unplugged Woodshop. Although he admitted to using mostly power tools, I still think he did an amazing job regardless of the tools used! I absolutely love the metal fabricated hardware.

Really greatĀ job on the table Ron- thanks again for sharing this with us!

An Architect’s Table in Illinois

I came across your work online and ordered a couple of your books. I like all of your projects, but the Architect’s table intrigued me the most. So, I made one of my own. I used walnut and curly maple like you, but had a steel top support swivel fabricated by a fabricating shop. I haven’t mastered the hand tools yet – I made mine with mostly power tools. But I am practicing with the hand tools you use in your book.

Thanks for publishing your book, your projects, website, and Facebook Page. They are a great help to my woodworking.
