Into the molds...
In today's episode we'll be laminating the guitar sides. As you remember, I went with three curly maple veneers that will finish around 3/32" in thickness. You'll find some luthiers will use a "secondary" wood in the middle or on the inside of their guitars but I chose maple throughout..why? I plan to cut out a side sound-port so I didn't want a variation in the veneer when you look through the hole . . .
