Out of the clamps, edges are cleaned up.
We'll get started today by putting the bindings and purflings into the side bending press. A little heating blanket and they'll be ready to go for the edge dressing.
But before we can start cutting double edge rabbets, we need to dress and flush the edges. That involves a little block plane work, some spokeshaves, a little card scraper and then maybe a touch of sandpaper. Whatever it takes . . .
