It's been a busy week around the shop but we're back to a bit more of the drawer build. With spalted maple for the drawer front, I seem to have my work cut out for me. That's the thing when you use spalted wood, there's really no guarantees it'll work. This maple is really soft on the end so as you'll see I added a coat of shellac in an attempt to "stabilize" the wood . . .
