I’d like to thank all of you, the readers for making this year one of the best ever…the comments and feedback really mean a lot to me- lets face it, writing a blog and not getting any feedback wouldn’t be any fun at all!
2011 should prove to be just as exciting with a few projects already planned for the woodshop.
***For anyone interested in ordering copies of Made by Hand, I just got off the phone with my publisher and it seems they’re all sold out!
Books are on back-order and expected in early Feb. 2011.
With that, I hope you have a healthy and happy holiday season.
Cheers!

Right back at ya’ Tom! I hope you and the family have a great holiday season and you find that new LN 51 Shooting Plane in your stocking. All the best!
As I set out to spend holiday time with my better half’s side of the family I would to also say. “have a safe and happy holiday season one and all and remember that even the son of God was a wood worker.
Excellent to hear about the success of your book. I know I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it. Congratulations and Merry Christmas!!!
Health and happiness to you and your family Tom, and to all blog readers.
We’ll see what 2011 will bring us….let the journey be the destination!
Thanks for spending the time to write in the blog. I enjoy your hand tool approach to the fine art of wood working. Merry Christmas and a very happy new year. John
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Love the picture for this blog post. I am a Catholic and a friend of mine gave me a statue of St Joseph–he stands atop my plane till, hopefully not shaking his head too often when I mess up cutting a tenon (like I did on Monday) or make gappy dovetails. Pretty sure the see through maple end-grain chisel shavings I made met with his approval though.
I look forward to seeing your amazing work on these blog pages in 2011.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you as well sir!
Thank you for your blog, very inspirational and I always visit it, cheers!
