I’m happy to let you know about the 2011, WOODWORKS Conference by the Ottawa Woodworkers Association on Saturday, April 9th in Ottawa, ON.
It’ll be at Louis Riel High School, LOCATED AT 1655 Bearbrook Rd, in Ottawa.
Registration is on April 8th from 6-8pm and the Conference starts at 9am on Saturday the 9th and goes until 6pm.
Besides yours truly, talking about some of the things I do around this place there will be some other guest speakers to fill the afternoon and hopefully educate and inspire your wood working mind ~
Ron Barter, the owner of Rosewood Studio, School of Fine Woodworking in Perth, Ontario.
Karen McBride, an award winning studio furniture designer/maker.
Vic Tesolin, cabinet maker, Technical Advisor at Lee Valley Tools and former editor of Canadian Woodworking Magazine.
There will also be a Tool Bazaar and a pub night at the Blackburn Arms that you won’t want to miss.
